The budget is tight, and repairs are neglected. Rent is not cheap, and the property neglect affects all. It leads to new vacancies. Silverbrooke leasing office doesn't have adequate staff and equipment to operate fluently. Telephones are not always answered, and Silverbrooke does not even own a fax machine. Many of the roofs, as an example, have been neglected too long, and some units now suffer interior damage. Be leery of the move-in special. It exists for good reason -- vacancies are high. You can't blame the workers or the property manager. The property manager is, in fact, very good and an asset to Etkin and Silverbrooke I have no ties to anyone working here. I'm just a tenant for now. I've been here for a long time, but feel that if change doesn't begin soon, there will be another vacancy - me! Change needs to begin at the Etkin office or this place will continue to spiral downhill.
