From the day we moved in, trouble! (DOUBT IT' SEE PICTURESS-TOO BAD I COULD ONLY POST 6!) Etkin & Co. (the owners) should be shot for letting Silverbrooke go like this! Cars parked everywhere, hungry diseased kids in PJs at 3am screaming bloody murder, furnace exploding despite their 3 repair attempts over 3 years, trash everywhere, vandalism, mold, mildew, mushrooms in carpet, BADLY NEGLECTED BROKEN APARTMENTS-leaking roofs, mold, crime, floods, no sidewalks, broken glass, inadequate lighting, unsafe and downright DANGEROUS living conditions. Very slow to fix anything if at all and when they do, inadequate and cheap-temporary fixes at best. Destructive, violent, criminal, dangerous, alcoholic illegal immigrants that have no hygiene, smell terrible, cooking stinks up whole neighborhood, cars outside-messes (trash, vermin) in garages, unsanitary (peeing everywhere, trash, etc.) always sick because they do not take care of themselves, way to many per apartment-grandma living in garage in one case, parking everywhere, cutting hair and leaving it on our walkways, breaking apartments, loud at all hours, etc. Rodents. Dangerous transformers, exposed wiring, etc. See the proof in the pics. Even the cops are complaining about the danger element and more...

The complex is rapidly falling apart due to neglect. Too many code violations to mention. West Bloomfield code enforcement has been notified and is working on the problem but there is so much wrong that I won't hold my breath waiting. Talking about condemning units because of unsafe living conditions. True third world living here. Unsafe, unhealthy, unfriendly, and if you have kids good luck!

Thanks so much for the info this place really is a dump when I drove thru there was almost no shingles left on any of the roofs and trash all over. Asked to se an apartment that was move in ready after being shown 3 different Apts. I had to leave. I was disgusted with everything I kept on askin if "This one is ready to move into?" followed by a "yes " are you kinding me hair and other nastyness ie:mold greese ? what else on bathroom floor different color /texture carpet in a few rooms tles missing for floor in bathroom, HAIR painted to the walls in bathrooms! Celling's were painted in different colors only in spots,Wood trim had paint all over it windows were fogged on the inside like the seals broke?Mold in laundry room holes in garage , the list goes on and on this place is gross. Staff is also terible office is very depressing and smells of cig. smoke and it felt like I was a burden to them that I wanted to see an apartment. All in all I would rank this place at a 0 and cant belive the onwers can sleep at night, I would rather shingle a cardboard box then live at silverbrooke.

Read about new tenants from Detroit and how crime is on the rise there. 3 different gun related incidents in 1 month! In addition, the place is a dump. Management doesn't care about anything including new tenants! Head manager is clearly a stoner. Heard he and some guy named Noble are into illegal substances. TRash everywhere, bad gangs, disgustingly gross Arabs (not showered, yelling and screaming at all hours, trash, pigs), disease, dirty, like a third world country. Heard Anti-American sentiment yelled at me and other racial remarks (I am mostly white from another country even). Not what I heard it used to be 20 years ago from a former colleague. The rent is outrageous as well. It is unbelievable that the authorities can let this place stay in existence! Doesn't say much for West Bloomfield Twp. authorities at all. A real scar on their reputations.
