I'm surprised this complex got so many negative reviews.I moved in one month ago and generally satisfied with this complex.
Leasing office staffs are polite and easy to communicate. I got what I wanted after some negotiations. There are some maintenance needs since the apartment i moved in was occupied by previous renter for many years.
Now let's talk about this complex itself.
Pros:
- large living room and spacious bedrooms
- more than seven closets (incl. walk-in closet in master bedroom)
- big kitchen
- spacious basement storage room w/ locked entry
- good view (if your room faces the lawn)
- big balcony (i picked the upper level)
- heat(natural gas) is free
- neighbors are usually quiet and friendly. many residents are seniors.
- good management of the complex properties
- convenient location (close to shopping mall and movie theater)
Cons:
- window is too low. My bed is almost at the same level as the window opening, which compromises the privacy.
- eaves too short. so rains can wet the carpet
- only one set of washer/dryer for 8 units
- hot water is heated by electrical heater, not natural gas.So electricity bill could be $40 easily.
After searching for apartments for 4 months, i found this complex is much better than its peers in roominess, function, management, environment and others. The apartment location is important. e.g., the ones facing the street or lower level is not that good.
