I moved here about 18 months ago, and I have had nothing but troubles. Last week the rent payment box (made of metal) was broken into and my (among others) rent check was stolen. The cops were called, but (of course) there was never any resolution. The following month, someone decided to break into my new car and steal my registration and any other personal information I had laying around. I fear that, since they have my personal information, they will target my apartment for a robbery or steal my car. I spoke to other residence and they too had their cars invaded. I spoke with the apartment representative, but they didn't care. To date there has been no follow up or resolution. Many people are leaving Whitmore lake and I fear the community is heading downhill. I have seen police called many times for serious disturbances (about 2 per week).

I can say that it is great place to live. The 3bedrooms are very roomy. I have never gone to the office and the leasing staff not be there. They are always so friendly. They bend over backwards to help me and deliver packages to my apartment that have arrived when I was at work. The staff has even gone to my home to walk my dog when I got stuck at work. This is a great place to live.

Someonemust have been hired to write the response to that review... or they work for the community. I know for a fact that this response is BS. I lived there for 4 years and many many other residents share my bad experiences...

I never noticed a problem with safety (perhaps because I had an apartment tucked back from the road?). I only lived there about a year and half though. When did the rental box thing occur? I missed that. I was never contacted that my rent check was missing, so maybe my dropping it in a little late was to my advantage? :-) Still, good to know. I'll look over my checks to make sure that my march one was canceled appropriately.
