I've lived at Westbrook for the past 8 months. Before I moved in I did a lot of research because of the reviews I read on this site. You cant be too cautious now days. I drove through the complex at least 4 times after I toured the property at different times of the day to see if any riff raff was present and I stopped some of the residents who were outside if they were happy here or not. Everybody I talked to had good things to say about it. Since moving in overall my experience has been pleasant. The apartments are very well kept and the community is filled with nice landscaping. I'm not embarrassed to have guests come to my home like I was at my last apartment. I cant speak for anyone elses experience but mine has been pleasant. My daughter loves it here and has made lots of friends. Your experience is what you make it. Hands down managment & the maintenance guys know what they are doing. If things continue this way I plan to renew for another year.

I am glad you are having a good experience; you are a lucky person because the property was horrible when we lived there. Cops being called daily/nightly, pets never picked up after, and management was anything but fun to deal with... they closed their eyes and ears to all problems! Beware of the rent and make sure the box isn't broken into when you use it. I hope your future remains as happy for you!

How long ago did you live there? Thats sounds completely opposite of what they are doing now. They are fining residents for not picking up pet litter. Some of my neighbors complained about getting fined but they were the primary ones letting their dogs crap without picking it up so I was glad to see it being enforced. I dont own a pet so that is one of my pet peeves as well. I havent seen many cops but I heard through the grape vine that a couple people were evicted months back but I didnt know exactly what for. Seems like they are doing a good job at cleaning the place up. You cant beat it for the price. I work in Ann Arbor so there is no comparison to living in Whitmore Lake. I moved from the Ann Arbor area before moving here and you would've thought I lived in the middle of party central. Im pretty pleased with my new home.
