It's a good place for splitting costs. My apartment is a three bedroom so I was able to split the rent with two girlfriends and each of us only pay $305 plus heat and electricity. The place is pretty quiet, and I like the locations. My roommates both drive to Ann Arbor every day and I go to Wixom so we all have pretty decent commutes. This place had everything we wanted: our own washer and dryer, two bathrooms each with a tub, three big bedrooms and central air.
I think the best thing in the complex is the fact that the apartment is pretty new. It had new carpet and appliances when we moved in. We looked at another complex in Whitmore Lake which was probably a lot older. It was nice that it was near a lake but it felt dirty and older. All in all, it was a good move and I'm pretty sure that we'll renew our lease when they ask us to in a few months.
