Meadowood is a ghetto as ghetto can be, its like they took a little bit of detroit and droppepd right in wixom, so stay away unless you like roving packs of thugs,bass booming at all hours of the morning,domestic violence,car break ins,the list goes on and on.
Ive seen it all in the one short year i lived here,parties that have erupted into battles that spill into the parking lot,drug deals,people just urinating out in the open,trash spidded everywhere in the parking lot,and the management will ignore you when you complain, but they have no problem with their surprise inspections of your unit.
Oh and parking is a nightmare!!! i hope you dont mind walking lol and if the car sits for more than three days you get a big orange towing sticker on your window,I KID YOU NOT then you have to go to the main office and plead with the seemingly uneducated broads who seem more interested in bigmacs than running an apartment complex to not get your car towed even though its insured and has plates!!!! makes no sense.
If something breaks you might as well fix it yourself,the management will ignore you about that too, its been a year and my fridge is still broken! The groundkeepers are semi literate neandertals who will try to shake you down for beer money for fixing something that shouldnt have needed fixing in the firstplace, and this is fact!! i wish i were making this up.
I guess the old saying is true, you get what you pay for, my advice is spend a little extra money and find a non rent controlled gov subsidised welfare ghetto slice of detroit.

I have lived here for almost 4 yrs. and I have never witness any of this. Now i cant say anything about what goes on in another persons home as far as domestic violence goes. but my car has never been vandalized, nor have I heard of anyone else's being vandalized. yes, parking is terrible at times. Even I want to park in front of my building. But Meadowwood do not and cannot control who parks where. They do perform random checks to see if cars have been parked in one spot for a long period of time. and after warnings will have it towed to free up space. You are lying when you say that they will put a sticker on your car after 3 days. Mine set there for a month before I got a sticker. Loud music yes sometimes. but it RARE. I had a party for my son who turned 16 and I let everyone in the building know that the party would be over at a certain time and that I would try to keep the noise down and people still complained. there are no thugs rooming the complex, just a bunch of teenagers. And yes they can be very loud and act like "teenagers". I have found that just asking them to keep it down and reminding them of the rules. I haven't had many problems as of yet. Situation that couldn't be resolved, I've taken it up with the parents or office. Since I have to be at work at 4 in the morning. I have never seen a drug deal go down. NEVER! NEVER!!!! Nor has there been any memos (which we get often) about this matter. As far as how this property is managed, Meadowwood and Concord does its best to keeping this family oriented, safe and well maintained. I have call maintainance for very minute things and it never taken more than 24 hours to fix it. My heat went out at 3 in the morning and mike at that time was there in less 15 min. And as far as those Broads you spoke of in the office, they are some of the nicest people you ever want to meet and they will do everything Reasonable to address your needs. Yes there is a fine for everything, so the garbage you spoke about is kept to a minimum. as well as maintainance picking it up the excess every morning. Now I have to say there are alot of children out here now, so it can be a noisy place in the summer. So if you live by the park then you're in for a ear full. but any concerns please take it to Linda and she will try to resolve your issue. But I have found that residents use the office as the the police around here, instead of trying to solve some of there issues themselves. Speak to your neighbor, not all of us are "ghetto". And As far as rent go I pay almost A thousand dollars a month to live here as I am sure alot of other residents here, so its not cheap. So I'm sure what the Linda and Concord can't solve Wixom Police will because they don't play. Meadowood give opportunities to those who want out of the city a better chance. but trust, if you don't follow that resident handbook or can't keep your kids in line they will get you out of here. And those making racial notion and ridiculous complaint don't belong out here anyway.

Well said the person that did the initial review was simply lying. MeadowWood Park is a wonderful place to live. Linda and ManagementTeam is very organize, and have always been prompt with repairs. I give Meadowood Park and A A A well done
