I highly recommend that you do not choose to live at the Village apartments. They are cheap for a reason. Let me walk you through the last 7 months I have lived here. When I first applied for the apartment the staff was rude and moved very slowly. I was very irritated. When I finally got the keys to the apartment I looked over everything and the carpet was clean but very stiff. I went to the office and asked that the carpet be cleaned again. They said the stiffness was normal to the carpet being shampooed. The lady in the office stated that I needed to use a vacuum to loosin the carpet up. I was upset because isn't it maintenance job to take care of it not the tenants job''' I dont have a problem keeping my apartment up, but if its before I move in... then it becomes a problem. Everything was alright besides the noise... kids outside yelling and running around in the early morning hours... and the creepy men that rome around the neighborhood. Here is where it gets really bad. Within the last month 3 tenants (including myself) in my building have been robbed. Someone had broken into my apartment through the window. The cops do patrol the area but you would think that if patrolling the area doens't do anything that management would install security cameras or something to make their tenants feel safe. I no longer feel as if I can stay at my apartment alone. I am now getting a dog soon and my Boyfriend is over often. I only have 5 months left at this hell hole! Please if you are even thinking about moving here... take a second look... Its not worth it!!!!
