Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009

I currently live in the apartment complex and I am not exactly sure if I want to renew my lease again next year. I have lived here since 2007 but I also used to live in the complex from 2001-2004. It was so different then. Rhonda was the property manager at the time and she was awesome. There was a no pet policy which has also changed. There have been more management changes since Rhonda left that I can't even keep track. You can hear your neighbors...especially if they are loud and obnoxious like mine are. People slam the doors and stomp up and down the stairs all the damn time that it can often times sound like I am living in a zoo. My downstairs neighbor has a dog as big as a bear that whines all the f*****g time so I just turn on my tv to full blast to drown it out. When her kids visit they run around the apartment all day long and it sounds like dinosaurs live there. No one here is aware of the noise they make and don't have enough sense to realize that if they can hear you then you must be able to hear them! I have complained and complained to the office but because they change office managers so often nothing gets handled. I am so glad the people next door moved now I just wish my downstairs neighbor would just leave. I like my apartment, the property and where it's located but the poor construction makes me not want to stay anymore because you hear everything. It sounds as if the apartments are separated by a piece of drywall. It's possible for people to control their noise because my neighbor across the hall is the quietest man ever. I never hear him come in or out, slam his door, use his keys or anything like that. I just live around a bunch of raggedy ass people who don't need to be living in an apartment complex. It would be simply perfect if the walls were sound proof but since thats not the case I will probably be on my way next year. Hope the office can get it together before then. On a side note, Ed the maintenance man is really good. I don't bother with the basements, they are too dark and they only have 1 washer and 1 dryer so first come, first serve. I go elsewhere to do laundry.
