We lived in Ramblewood for three years and overall liked it. The buildings are older so there are a few issues. The kitchen cabinets in our apartment were pretty crummy. The apartment was pretty drafty which was a bummer for paying heat, but that being said we only paid 50% of the heating bill. We loved the setup of the apartment. It was a two level, two bed apartment. The kitchen, dining, and family rooms were on the entry level. Our bedrooms were downstairs. It was great not having to worry about having people above us being noisy while we were sleeping. We did have the entrance door right outside of our bedroom wall which was a bit noisy, especially on the couple of occassions when the buzzer broke and was buzzing constantly. The maintence staff was wonderful. Our maintence needs were usually taken care of in a timely manner and the maintence staff was extraordinarily respectful. They even let my kids watch what they were doing and explained the repairs as they did them. The management was not tolerant of people being super noisy. There was a couple of college guys that moved into the apartment building next door and treated it like a frat house at all hours. They were evicted. There were also a couple of guys in our building that did the same thing and were also evicted. The managment was rude on occassion but overall the experience was good.
