A pretty good experience

Waterchase was an OK place to live. The office people were very nice and helpful. Maintenance was done quickly, and the maintenance guys were friendly. I loved the washer and dryer in the apt., and the dishwasher was great. The fridge/stove were OK. Sound levels were great, I very rarely heard any of my neighbors (3rd floor). The ponds were very pretty, and the landscaping was beautiful--lots of trees and flowers. I loved having my own garage w/ opener. I guess the pool and the clubhouse/exercise room were nice but I never used them.
The cons: the nasty geese honking all day and all night, messing up the sidewalks around the ponds. Lots of cooking smells in the hallways, and the hallway walls were dirty and damaged in places. My carpet was absolutely disgusting. They repaint the walls between each tenant, which is nice, but there were little paint flecks everywhere. Not much cupboard or closet space. They have wall unit air conditioners which are LOUD, and it's difficult to control the temperature in the apartment--living room is freezing while the bedroom is hot. (Central air only for me from now on!)
The complex is nice but it's surrounded on all sides by trashy low-income apartments, so the area's not all that great.
