I have lived at International Place for a year now and have found it a pleasant place to live overall. The apartments are large, there is an exercise facility and a pool, the neighbors are generally courteous and quiet, and the office staff is helpful. International Place is a good place for me because I am a graduate student, and I am not interested in a luxury apartment. It is true that these apartments are older, and you don't have to be rich to live here. The rent specials make the apartments really cheap. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I've never felt unsafe living here and I'm a 22 year old female. They have security officers patrol the parking lots all through the night. I'm not quite sure what people expect when they pay less than $500/month for a one bedroom. This is a good place to live. It might not be the fanciest complex in the area, but it is a good place. The management is responsive to tenants concerns, it is in a convenient location, and it serves a very diverse community. Don't let the other reviews steer you away. Stop by International Place and see for yourself.

$500 a month for a one bedroom??? Wow I didn't get the deal you got!!! I have had several things stolen from this hellhole including, a bike, plants, the newspaper and even my mail!!! Also, one morning I went into the laundry room to find that someone had broken into the machines and took all of the quarters so I had to go to the laundrymat. My favorite part about living here was the morning I walked out of my apartment to find vomit in the hallway. There was a vacant apartment that people were using to party in...where was this fabulous security patrol that night???? Don't live here if you can avoid it!!!!
