We've lived here for 3 years and will be leaving at the end of our lease. I went down to the laundry room to get my stuff out of the dryer tonight and walked in on a drug deal. If you are a person who enjoys a quiet environment and respectful neighbors, DO NOT RENT HERE. But, if you love being jarred awake by the sounds of noisy sex and thumping bass, by all means, sign a lease at International Place. I've called the police several times during my stay here, mostly when I suspect someone is being beaten. I've had other tenants knocking on my door, asking to use the phone because their baby's daddy was smacking them around and they needed to use my phone.

Maintenance isn't great. My furnace and my air conditioner don't work properly and whenever they've sent someone to fix it, they leave it the same as they found it. They did replace my dishwasher when it broke... but it took them six weeks.

The office staff is generally nice, although they had a bad batch a couple of years ago.

The biggest complaint I have is the tenants. I guess cheap rent ends up costing in other areas. The place is full of criminals, and if you look at the sex-offender registry for this area, you'll be disturbed to find a good dozen or more living right here in International Place.

I would not rent here unless you had no other option. I ended up here by accident... I'm from out of town and moved here for school. I didn't know any better and wasn't aware of this great website.
