I have lived in 2 apartments in international, spanning the course of 20 years, and as any place in that amount of time, it has had it's ups and downs, but I myself have never had any problems. Any issues I have had with minor maintenance have been taken care of with no problem, and the maintenance men that have come to do the work have always been friendly and helpful. When my furnace went out, they replaced it with a brand new unit, quickly, and without any hassle. These apartments were built in the early 70's, and considering that, they have held up pretty well. They have been through quite a few managers in the time I have been here, but all have been nice when I have had questions about things. I am glad to see they are painting the buildings and putting siding up, though I dont know how I feel about the security gate in the front, but maybe it wont be as big a hassle as I think. Only time will tell but I do aprreciate the fact that they are trying to improve the look of the complex.

International has come a long way its not fair to judge the complex off what a couple fools decided to with their time at night. Be realistic your self, the complex cant prevent everything wrong from happening but taking the time to put up new security measures is a step. If your so unhappy break your lease, after all if i felt soooooo unsafe no dollar amount is worth my life.
