I have lived at Brookwood for 2 years and I am puzzled by the last review. The staff has never been anything but nice to me,maybe they were just having a bad day, we all do. The area around Brookwood is very open and the wind blows a lot but you see the staff out picking up every morning so it is hard for me to understand "trash around the buildings".
If you're wondering about how safe it is call the Washtenaw County Sheriff Department can check it out, as far as I know a car has never even been broken into in time I've been here.
My apartment nice with huge bedrooms and ktichen and the service has been great.
