Bla Bla Bla ....I have lived here in the " Creek" for going on 2 years. I remember all the crime and shootings and strife in the 80's and part of the 90's. The law has done a fine job cleaning up the South side, Its West Willow that needs John Wayne now. First, this isn't lake in the Woods so there is a reason why we live here...cheap rent..it certainly isn't scenic here but it provides the basics..shelter, heat , and a clean place to call " home" If you have ever lived in your car or wondered where your kids will sleep you know what I mean. You pay your rent...and they leave you alone...you dont pay and they throw you out ..just like schooner cove, lake in the woods, laurel Bay, Pines of cloverlane, HuntClub. We have a diverse mix of people here for the most part want to be left alone. ------ people, European people,Russian, ------- people, Indian people, White People who all just want to be left alone...the cops are through here constantly, if they are serving warrants or picking people up who cares my windows are closed and I am a law abiding citizen ..who cares...I witnessed more crime living in schooner cove and Laurel Bay then I have living here. And because everyone else mentioned the maintenance people they are very nice people who just want to live in peace as well..if you cant handle a racial diverse community ..stay away ...chances are we dont want you here anyway...I am a white anglo peacfully living in the " Creek " until I can afford something better...get a life
Also if you don't like racial diverse music like rap or hip hop...there are places to rent in Allen Park head east on 94 20 minutes away. Oh yea, and I have a college education so if you see a type O you past your test of noticing it...you can have 2 cookies instead of 1 after dinner.

College education I'm not so sure about that but you cant compare crime and diversity with other places filled with more crime and police. Its not normal to have warents served in public on a regular day and its not ok to have to leave your windows closed either. From your review it dosent sound to me that this place is safe or a "home" to anyone.
