I am still living here, why not though. It's a great location, about a fifteen minute walk to pray harrold, plus about ten minute walk to the bus stop.
The walls are thick and so are the ceilings, i haven't heard a neighbor since i've moved in.
As for security, it's pretty good. I live in a garden level and haven't had any problems. That could have something to do with living in the leasing office building, though.
Management is, or was, cool. I don't know who does most of the leasing info anymore, but the girl who used to was very easy-going. I have been late 2 months on rent and they were very understanding.
Also, the repair crew is outstanding. My a/c wasn't working when I moved in and it was fixed three hours later.
There are a lot of students, along with families in the apartments. I ran into a guy that I had class with that I didn't even know lived next to me. Like I said, quiet!
Parking can be harry, sometimes. There was talk about limiting visitor parking, but there are not that many places that offer that to begin with.
Other than that, my main complaint with eastern village is the lack of dishwashers, they do not offer them. If you need one of those, don't bother looking.
Overall, I would give this place a 9 out of 10 for the money. My rent was supposed to go up $15 a month, but only went up $5 due to the economy. Like I said, understanding staff.
