We don't live at Eastern Village, but at one of the other sites, Congress Gardens. In one year this complex has gone from bad to straight out ghetto. It is loud all of the time, in fact the loudest from midnight through five in the morning. Despite our constant complaints nothing is ever done. It is up to us to call the police, who are at this complex at least once a week, be it for domestic violence, noise, or robbery. In the last year our apartment was broken into once and all of our cars twice. We called the office after we were robbed and the only thing they said to us was "you should have locked your windows." Not only were our windows locked, we had bars in the tracks, the robbers kicked in a very flimsy plexi glass window that was not even fastened into the window frame. Stay away from this place if you value your personal property.
