Years at this apartment: 1998 - 1999
 
I lived at Eastern Village from 98-99. During my stay, several friends of mine who lived on the first floor had their apartments burglarized. I would definitely suggest living on the 2nd or 3rd floors for safety. Also during my stint at E.V., a man was shot in the couryard. Be careful, especially at night. The neighborhood has improved, but one still must take caution.
