This place is just downright bad. People are leaving in droves. Almost half the apartment's here are empty.

This has cause Eastern Village to rent their apartments to mential patients. I don't normally have a problem with people like this, but I'm fairly certain that I am now the only person in my building who is normal. Everyday around 4:30, two big vans pull up and drop the whole lot off. They wander around the grounds for the rest of the night, chatting and making noise. One of them has decided that he is the doorman, he sits outside the door of the apartment and opens it for you. Not a bad deal until you try to open the door for yourself. I wouldn't recommend it.

They also decided to not open the pool this year without telling any of their tenants. The beautiful view I have from my apartment is now just a cesspool of decomposing leaves and mosquito orgies.

The office staff is horrible and it seems every month when I pay my rent, they have a new person working the desk.

Also, don't plan on having friends over ever. There are maybe 15 guest parking spots for the entire complex. The complex owner also owns the towing company that patrols our lots so if your car gets towed, he's raking in the money.

Noise wasn't bad until recently. During the day, there is construction right across the street and at night, the running theme here seems to be let your car alarm go off until the battery dies. I really wish I was kidding. I can only take a car alarm going off for so long before I get the uncontrollable urge to smash their windows and slash the tires.

There is zero lighting in the parking lots... unless you count the one light that kind works. It comes on for a few seconds, then turns blue and goes out.

The rent is cheap and the apartment isn't all that bad. It could use some work but I doubt that will ever happen.
