I've lived in Eastern village since August of 1999 , my stay has been pleasant. I attended Eastern Michigan univ, so it was ideal for me... I could walk to and from class, work wasn't far...the only thing is I think management doesn't screen tenant well...there should be a better process when deciding who can rent in this complex.
The grounds are not kept very well. I can always expect trash in the hallways of my apartment. Once I counted how many days a Beer bottle used cat litter was left in the hallway and on the stairs. I countd 12 days. Disgusting! I can always count on trash scattered around the dumpsters, fast food bags left in the parking lots. It needs work concerning cleanliness! I even had a mouse problem at one time.
But as a student it was ideal for the price and location. I liked my apartment and I didn't have any problems except the MICE...
