I've lived in this complex for 6 years now. At one time it was a decent place, especially for the price. However, during my time renting here, I have had my car broken into, my storage cage broken into, had to call the police on hostile neighbors, and at least twice in the past year the main door locks on my building have been broken, causing people to buzz in non-tenants who should not have been in the building. There is very little insulation between the floors. When I sit in my livingroom, I can hear word for word whatever is playing on the TV in the unit above mine.

The maintenance isn't stellar, though depending on the issue, the response time is reasonable. The community does offer a nice pool and there are parks nearby. It's also on the busline. They allow you to garden on your patio if you have a ground floor unit. Also, the gas heat is free, at least for now.

Hearing that the locks on all of the buildings and laundry rooms were going to be changed for the 2nd time in 2 years was the last straw for me. The real kicker was when I found a new complex I wished to rent from. I had to contact Fairway trails apt. managers 3 times in order to get them to release my rental history.

I would not recommend this complex unless you are in a real financial bind and don't mind the sky rocketting crime rate in this area, being able to hear your neighbors, and having difficulties getting a rental reference to move out from here.
