My husband and I lived at the Flo-Mar complex for two years and we thought it was great. We lived on the bottom floor, had no issues, and felt safe. If there was a problem, or something was broken (which was very rare) it was immediately taken care of by the staff. The staff was great, and so were the maintenance people. Our apartment had new counter tops, carpeting, cupboards, tile floors, and alarms on the windows. The dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and stove were all new. None of the other places that we had looked had anything in comparison.

Sure, there's no pool or fitness room - but I'd rather have a new kitchen, bathroom, and feel safe than have a pool and live in a roach infested apartment.

All the posts about crime in Ypsilanti - what do you expect' It happens everywhere. Sometimes it is completely random, but most of the time people create an opportunity. Clean your car out. Close your blinds. Don't leave expensive stuff in plain view. Lock your door. Close your windows. It's not that difficult. If you're truly worried about it- get insurance.

It was a great place for us to live while finishing school and finding jobs. I would recommend their apartments to anyone in that stage of their lives. I mean that. We would still be living there, but had to move to be closer to our jobs.
