Recently moved out of these apartments and was plenty satisfied with them. Good appliances, solid living space and two blocks to campus. Maintenance requests were always pretty quick, but hardly needed to call them because the place was is pretty good shape.

I found the office staff to be good. Would always provide plenty of notice before showing the apartment and also called the same day packages would arrive in the office. To respond to another post I saw, I guess I would judge the competency of the office staff more on effectiveness than on personality.

I do wish some of the tenants had been a little more friendly and willing to at least make eye contact and say hello. Obviously nothing management could do about that; if they had some kind of barbecue or gathering, I don't know how many people would have come.

To sum it up, good place to live if you are going to EMU. Always have a parking space and no more than a 10-15 minute walk to anywhere on campus. Also has very quick access to I-94. I would recommend it to anyone.

A monkey could run an apartment complex. It requires no education. All that is left is personality. That is why we moved on, dealing with the office manager and owner was just plain painful. Also just about every apartment in the city of Ypsilanti is with in 5-10 minutes from campus and 94. Ypsilanti is a small town.
