I'm a Grad student at EMU and I'm starting my 3rd year at Flo-Mar. I've seen a lot of friends' apartments around town, which always makes me relieved I was lucky to get a spot at FloMar. There's a lot of crap out there. I'm a student, but I'm not a kid, so I need something nice, but cost is super important too.

My apartment really feels like home. Almost everything in my apartment is new or was recently renovated, so honestly, I've had very few issues. The office staff is extremely helpful and organized. If I ever have a maintenance issue, they fix it within 24 hours. The apartments are family owned, so the owner really cares about things. It's now some big company. Any complaint - and really there have been few over the past 2 years - is taken very seriously.

I'm a woman and living alone, so safety is really important to me. Unfortunately Ypsi is not the best place. But I feel very comfortable at Flomar because they have a lot of lighting around the grounds and shrubs are cut back. None of my neighbors have had a safety issue.
