I lived at Golfside Lake my last year of college. My A/C needed to be repaired and maintenance responded quickly. My neighbor upstairs reported me to the office because she could hear my TV. I was unaware of this until the office delivered a written warning in the mail, which stated that the next time the neighbor complained, I'd be evicted. I thought this was a little harsh considering that the office never even questioned me in regards to the matter. The reason I decided to write a review, however, is because I too had my car vandalized while I lived at Golfside Lake. My window was smashed out, the radio was ripped from the dash, and everything had been rummaged through. After paying a high deductible to have my car repaired, I removed all personal belongings from my car and began leaving the doors unlocked. One morning I found my car door open and another morning I found a pack of cigarettes on my car floor- strange considering I do not smoke and had no friends in my car. After those 3 incidents I posted a notice in my hallway to put all the neighbors on notice. The notice was promptly removed. After reading all the other reviews about vehicle theft and vandalism in Golfside Lake's parking lot, I felt obligated to share my experiences.
