Golfside lakes may look nice and safe, but it's not. . . I lived here for 6 months with another girl and ended up having to move out early because it was so dangerous. Like another resident pointed out, it is COMPLETLEY OBVIOUS that the staff did write the newest "great place to live" reviews. I too lived in a two bedroom townhouse facing the "nice" playground for the children and it wasn't all that they are making it out to be!! The parking lot that it faces is totally shady, one of my friends got knocked out with a brick and had his wallet rumaged through (of course, he had no money), a female friend had her apartment broken into by four males at 7:30 in the evening, our neighbors cars got broken into, a resident was held up at gun-point right outside of the "security office" and our neighbor was a drug dealer who was a murder suspect. The office people are not helpful, even after the police informed them that we were not safe living there they still tried to charge us $3,500 to move out early. This place may seem like a nice place to live for college students, but it's just low income families and mental patients. . . seriously. . .

I've heard about a town home getting "broken into" but I tend to believe it was just a messed up drug deal as the people that got "broken into" were stoned all the time and didn't seam to care who knew. My guess is they left there door unlocked. As for the parking lot, I've walked around there during the day, there is nothing wrong with it. As for at night, what was he doing wandering around alone ? This is YPSI!
