There's feces everywhere!!

I would highly recommend NOT taking an evening stroll if you are living in the Hunt club. There is next to no lighting in certain areas of the grounds. Nearly no one picks up after his or her animal. You may think you're safe as long as you stay on the sidewalk, but your not. Walking down the sidewalk you will encounter several piles of feces. If you aren't walking in it, your little bundle is because the grass is loaded with droppings from other dogs as well as from geese. There are geese everywhere. People actually stand on the bridge and feed them, then they wonder why the geese are at their porch. Management gives the same excuse they give to everything else that's wrong with the units and respond with "there's nothing we can do". My question is, what can they do' When something is wrong with the apartment or the grounds, they place the blame on AIMCO. If you catch them overcharging you, and they will, they blame it on Ista. Or if you're really lucky, they will blame it on the tenant that lived there before you. For example, if the tenant that lived in your apartment before you didn't pay their DTE or Comcast, you will not be able to get the bill placed in your name. Which Hunt Club will be more than willing to get billed for. They just won't tell you up front that each month that the DTE or Comcast doesn't get put into your name, because it can't until they make the call explaining to either Comcast or DTE that you are not the same tenant that lived there previously, even know that's all they have to do, they will tack on another $50 here and there for processing. I wonder what AIMCO and Ista think of the fact that their employees at Hunt Club are dragging their names through the mud. They do not hold themselves accountable for anything, but they will hold you accountable to everything. For the money you're going to pay for water, sewage, trash pick-up, etc. one would wonder if you really are only paying for the water, electricity, gas, etc that you use or if it s someone else s. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT moving into the Hunt Club. I lived in several other complexes in Ypsilanti through my college years. I thought Hunt Club was more upscale as they claim to be, but I was WRONG. You can find much nicer apartments in the area with staff that will want to make improvements and not just place the blame on everyone else.
