I have lived in Hunt Club Apartments since January of 2007. We had signed a lease prior to moving in here at LakeShore apartments and that was a nightmare. We quickly got out of our lease there and looked at Hunt Club apartments. The apartment that we currently live in, had brand new carpeting, freshly painted walls and a washer and dryer. We moved here because of the atmosphere and that we were referred by friends who lived here for 3 years before buying a house and LOVED IT! We are so happy here. We feel safe here and apart from one set of neighbors we get along great with the others. The scenery is amazing to see and to walk around the grounds. I frequently take my five and a half month old son on walks to relax and he loves it because there is a ton of trees, flowers and birds to look at. The people who are complaining about "thugs" and loud music, guess what you sound like a racist for one and two you live in a college town. I have lived in multiple apartment complexes in Ypsilanti and this is the best by far. We are actually going to renew our lease for another year because we enjoy our spacious home. Why complain about a man on the I-94 exit, have you driven to Ann Arbor lately, they are out on those exits too. The people who are complaining about these issues are just insecure in life and do not know how to handle different types of people. You can move to Ann Arbor spend upwards of $400-$500 more a month for something that is smaller, not as nice and definitely not as quiet. I have friends that live in different communities and they will tell you that they love my place. Our stove broke and instead of even trying to fix it, we were ordered a brand new stove. The maintenance staff is extremely nice and they work hard to fix whatever problem you have. When I was pregnant, they always asked how I was feeling and made sure to fix things properly especially in our little boys room. I am actually offended by some of the reviews that people have written on here, not only about the complex, but about how they are speaking of the people who live in here and of the city of Ypsilanti. I have lived in Ypsilanti my entire life, I was raised in a middle class family and am definitely from a good family, so I definitely know quality when I see it and these apartments are quality.
