You heard it. Im suing this place for their horrible apartment. Maintenence is a joke. My entire building had problems with their plumbing... toilets not flushing, toilets clogging over tissuies, backing up over nothing, etc. And calling emergency maintenence will get you absolutely nowhere. When my kitchen flooded maintenence told me that the power was out where the on-call guy was and he wouldnt be coming. I promptly handed my phone to my roomate where she proceeded to rip a new ------- into this guy and the mantenence guy showed up about 3 mins later.
They also promise you two toilets, but you really get .5 toilets, one that never works and one that works about half the time. I dont know whats with this place, but I eventually called the health department, and naturally they were found in violation. Absolutely horrid. I was seriously so sick of bleaching that place. I probably spent $10 on bleach a month just to clean up that stupid toilet. Not to mention filing countless work orders (where they sigh and roll their eyes at you) demanding a new toilet or new burners for my stove (three didnt work), screens that stayed put, etc.
Not to note that I filed five noise complaints on the people below me who liked to blare Wu-Tang at 3am. I thought that they would get an eviction after a while, but no, the "landlord" who claims to be a landlord until you take legal action (where she says that she was kidding when she called herself the landlord) is just to lazy to clean up the place. I dont know why they bother to do a backround check on you when they knowingly let in drug dealers and dont do anything about it.
Also the "landscaping" is a complete laughingstock. Only about 50% of the place actually has grass, and the rest is just worn out dirt. The buildings and steps are also cracked and falling apart. Thank god I never got my foot stuck in a crack during the snow. Theyd be in big trouble.
Seriously save your money. Go elsewhere.
