PAST: This used to be a nice place to live. Many people had moved into townhomes and raised children, planted flowers, enjoyed the pool and the affordable rent.
TODAY: This is now the only apartment community in the area that does not have locking entry doors to the buildings, and the homeless bums and crackheads all know it! This summer there has been some guys sleeping under the stairs in random buildings or in the laundry rooms. Weed and crack fumes proliferate the halls and many of the drug dealers sitting in the parking lots seem to have police scanners in their cars because when my neighbors call the cops the dealers tear off once the call goes out over the radio from dispatch. Not good.

There have been 2 homicides in the last few years that I know of...some guy set a car on fire and himself in the process and jumped into the pond in the back...I think he died as well.

The owners of this community maybe setting a presidence for liability suits if they do not modify these buildings and secure access to the hallways.

I see where Wingate Management is now looking to replace the current manager. THANK GOD! Send her back to Detroit or wherever she came from and hire someone that cares about the ALL DAY CURBSIDE DRUG SALES going on up and down Chestnut and right out of the old school cars backed up to the front of buildings.
