When choosing an apartment, the most important thing for me is the management. Whatever else is good or bad about a place is made ten times better or worse depending on how the management and maintenance staff handles things. The owner, property manager, and maintenance mechanic at The Meadows are friendly, and extremely helpful. If there's a problem, they don't just smile and try to get you out the door like some places; they are genuinely concerned with the satisfaction of every resident. The maintenance mechanic is very good, and I spend less time at the Meadows with any thing broken then anywhere else. The property manager knew my address before I did, and I never had to remind her of any details about my apartment, or about me. She takes the time to get to know everyone. The owner is very involved in the operation of the apartments. I have frequently seen him walking the grounds, just to check on things and make sure everything is looking good and up to his standards.
And in case you don't agree with me that the management is the most important thing, I should mention that the apartments were clean, quiet, and definitely a good value.
