This is my second year staying at Peninsular Place and I cannot wait to be out of my lease. Our apartment was broken into over the summer (over 7 months later) our door has still not been replaced and nothing but lies from the management ever since I was even denied access from my apartment because no one on staff had a copy of our apartment key after they changed our locks (I was out of town during the break in and only received a copy of the key 3 months later). Our DTE bill for the past 2 months has been over $300 and that is keeping our heat at 68 and using our electricity sparingly. If you plan on coming home to your apartment after 9:30pm be prepared to park at the off site parking, which is a poorly lit parking lot of an abandoned building (right next to the coin laundry where a female student was rapped this past year). Guest parking passes are ALWAYS checked out, causing your guest to park in the same abandoned lot as mentioned before. The management here is HORRIBLE and will lie to you till they re blue in the face. However, the maintenance people are very nice and get their jobs done. This complex is poorly insulated and freezing at night, to the point where my friends do not want to come over because they think my apartment is too cold!!! Although it is nice to have your own washer/dryer and a fully furnished apartment I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I have lived in several apartments and this has been by far one of the worse!!!!!!! If you do decided to live here DO NOT LIVE ON THE FIRST FLOOR!!!!!!

Each room costs about $485 (4 bedroom, 4 bath) a month including water and each roommate is on their own lease which is nice, but not worth the money! Also the paint job here is pretty bad...if you plan on touching the walls, plan on your deposit being long gone!
