It depends

I've looked around the area for apartments and in comparison Peninsular is newer and more modern. The problem with Peninsular is it seems that your experience depends on where you live in the building. I've heard that the A side is less noisy than the B side, but some of my friends have had noise issues on the A side also. Just like anywhere you neighbors really matter. I happen to have really great quiet neighbors that I rarely see, while others deal with weekly parties and such. I believe it's overpriced, but if you can afford it and happen to get an apartment that's not around a bunch of rowdy undergrads, it's a good place to live.
