DO NOT LIVE IN PENINSULAR PLACE!!!!

Peninsular Place appears to be a nice place to live, but once you move in, it is a nightmare. Before I had even moved in, I received a call on the day I was scheduled to move asking if I would be able to move in on a later date because my apartment had been "horribly damaged." Well, my boyfriend lived right down the street from Peninsular Place, so I asked him to go assess this "horrible damage." My apartment was far from damaged, there was a Peninsular Place employee living in it and the management thought it would be appropriate for them to call me and lie rather than making the person move out so that I would be able to move in. That situation set the tone for everything I have experienced at Peninsular Place to date and I have yet to have a positive experience here.
The office staff is terrible, they are incredibly rude and you feel like you are interrupting them every time you go into the office, which is generally to pay rent.
The maintenance staff is also incredibly rude. One morning they barged into my apartment unexpected and when I went to greet them at the door, no one said anything to me, in fact they pushed passed me into my apartment with muddy shoes on, made a mess in my kitchen with their muddy shoes, and invaded my privacy by rummaging through my kitchen cabinets, I'm still not sure what business the maintenance staff had going through my kitchen cabinets.
The way that the complex is set up, it is very scary to come home alone. The complex has open air breeze ways which allows anyone access to your apartment. I refuse to come home a lone because I am terrified... especially since almost once a week there is an armed robbery right by the complex.
Also, guest parking is a nightmare, you have two choices: An abandoned warehouse, or an abandoned bar...
I could go on forever about why someone should not live here. It is a terrible place to live and you definitely DO NOT get what you pay for.
