I moved into Peninsular right after graduating high school, because I thought it was a great deal on a beautiful and promising housing complex. I was so wrong! They offer so many extra amenities that I never used (nor did my roommates), so it wasn't worth the money. Out of all the things they offered, I probably only used the internet & cable tv. Parking was awful. I had to park across the street at the Wooden Nickel in the middle of winter & walk to the complex. My friends, who would visit, had their cars towed out the lot multiple times! The noise is extrememly irritating. There are constant parties, people running around their apartments, and music being played at all hours. I understand that this is a college environment, but come on. I have to work AND go to school everyday, and so do a lot of others. I've heard complaints about the appliances, but that is the one thing I didn't have an issue with. HOWEVER - both screens on my bedroom window have been torn since the day I moved in. I reported it multiple times to the leasing office and nothing was ever done. It's a small issue, but it would be nice to know that the staff is at least TRYING to take your concerns and complaints into consideration.
I will not be reccommending Peninsular Place to anyone in the future. I would never move back in or re-new my lease.

The apartments are right across from EMU Campus, how could you not expect partying and noise? Come on! Did you grow up in a bubble?

They have a strict 24-hour courtesy policy. When you move in, they shine this in your face and you are blinded until you sign the lease.
