If you want to reside in the ghetto then this place is for you. Managment is incompetant, maintenance people are not well trained to do the job, They rarely complete a maintenance request. Managers, 3 in a year, listen to the words, but do not act upon them, this a "secure" entry building, However, the lock broke and was replaced with a standard handle, no longer secure. I have had to wait weeks for some things to be done, and even months to have them solve some problems. Appliances are old, dirty, sticky, smelly. They paint the shower surround with latex to make it look new. The leak in the bathroom ceiling has soaked the drywall, the repair was just to cover it with drywall mud, still leaks. If you like being in a setting that has junk cars parked, auto repairs of all kinds, drug dealers all over, prostitutes walking around. There are plenty of drive thrus by the local police, mostly to see who they can bust. There was a shooting a couple weeks ago, but only one, the guy lived, but was shot outside, where kids were playing. There are plenty of old couches, chairs, mattreses laying around, near the dumpsters.
On the plus side, '''' if you stay in, close the windows, it is quiet, my neighbors are ok, they are spanish, and I dont speak it, so it can create a problem.
I moved in for two reasons, the rent was low, and the washer/dryer in the unit, I had to wait 3 weeks for the washer/dryer, but it was new when I got them. I have been waiting for well over two months for the dishwasher to be replaced, it stinks, bad, Tried bleaching it, but it did not help, it must be a very special dishwasher, its been on order for a month, cant wait to see it, if I live that long.
