I lived here 1995-1996 and it was okay. Parking was nightmare. Parking during the winter was even worse. Feet of snow and no plowing done at all. They just let it melt. Staff was dare I say it "bitchy", a bunch of sorority girls. Maintenance was a bunch of fraternity guys (always screwing around, mind you).They totally destroyed my housing credit. Signed an agreement that myself and my other two roommates rents were split 1/3 and if the other two were late with their third (which was every month for them) I wasn?t supposed to be penalized. Guess what' I was penalized. Bad rental report to the proceeding place I wanted to rent from even though they knew of this agreement. At that time we were paying an exorbatant $649 for a 2 bedroom. Now a 1 bedroom costs more than that. I cannot fathom paying that for these apartments. The landscaping and the trees were really the only plus of the community. Loud parties are usually the agenda on weekends. I guess that?s what you get when you?re a stones throw away from a university. Overall, if you go to EMU and you want convienience, then go for it. If you?re a professional living in the ypsi/ann arbor area....well then that?s a different story.
