The air conditioning was terrible. It was usually cooler outside the apartment, even when it was 80 degrees out! We ran the air conditioning non-stop and the place never got cool. The apartment had constant maintenance problems - the disposal, the fridge, the screen doors, the hall closet doors, door handles fell off, even our deadbolt fell off! It was never ending. Add to that rent that is too high for such old apartments, lack of parking space, I could go on. I got a much newer, nicer apartment about a mile away for $300 less a month. Management at River Drive is nice, but ultimately ineffective. It's loud here and there were a lot of problems with crime/robbery/assault in the parking lots.
