Being as how they looked very nice compared to the other apartments in the area I was dissapointed once we moved in. Air does not work during the winter. Loud neighbors make the complex laugh and everything breaks. Our deadbolt fell off our door, or screen doors fell off. we had to have the fridge replaced after it leaked and ruined our food 3 times. When they replaced it they didnt tell us and all the food we had went bad. There was an armed robbery in building 9 and none of the residents were told, the only way we found out is because we are students at EMU and got the email. ITS A HORRIBLE PLACE. Management seems nice enough but just dont get anything done. Hallways are always dirty, garbage outside, smell! Squeaky floorboards and parking is HORRIBLE! Watch out for your car cause it WILL get dinged out there. They say the problem calms down after all the student leave but WE CANT WAIT TO GET OUT!

I dont agree, I love river drive. Maintaince is always very quick and efficient, if called in by a resident. Thought that this was one of the safest apartments to live in the area! seriously. Its always very quiet from parties. I live on the third floor so i dont hear the noise above me but could see how it could be a problem. Had no problems otherwise, its an older community of building so you cant expect that there will be no problems.

OMG. i live in BLG 9.. i had NO IDEA about the robbery. I am sad about that. I live at on the bottom.. i can hear everything that goes on with the people above me. EVERYTHING! thats my major complaint. other than that.. i am fine. if something brks they fix it right away.
