I would def. recommend checking this place out.

I lived at River Drive for two years. Yes, parking was kind of a pain, yes maintenance sometimes took a while or didn't clean up as nicely as I would have liked, yes, the buildings are aging, but hey, you're living in "college housing". If you want to live in a palace with your own special parking spot, head on over to Ann Arbor and pay for it, or just buy your own house.
The apartments/closets are huge, the heat is free and the grounds are well maintained. The staff was always swell (I miss Beth and Jeff!), (loved the pool parties and flats of flowers, poinsettias at Christmas, & newsletters)They even sign and hold packages for you at the office. It was also super convenient to be able to pay your rent on site. (Some other complexes make you mail it) Unfortuantely, around the time I moved out, there had been a couple of burglary issues in the neighborhood, but I'm not sure if those have increased or decreased since I left.
Also, if you live at RD, you're close to Mr. Pizza/Hollywood Video and a great liquor store. Just make sure you remember to get your friends a guest pass for weeekend visiting. If I ever move back to the area, I would def. stop here first. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
