It's been about a year now since i moved out of Riverrain so things might have changed but my experience there was not pleasant. The apartment complex can be loud and there can be a lot of partying but it is across the street from a college. The apartments were very big and pretty nice. Parking was horrible. Any visitor risked getting towed after a certain time at night. I did not have any positive experience with maintenance either. Around april 02 someone decided it would be funny to crap in the hallway. It was absolutely disgusting, it was all over the walls and floor. We called the office and they said it would be taken care of. Three days later maintenance came out and scraped it off the carpet (never cleaned the walls). Management never cleaned the area any more than what they had done in april. The second nightmare came when our air went out. We had problems with the air when we first moved in and it was "fixed". Then it got cold so we never used it other than a few times. When summer came we started using it more. Our electricity bills were two to three hundred dollars a month and eventually the air went out again. It took management 3 days to fix the problem again. When we moved we found that the carpet in the back corner of the bedroom closet was soaking wet and covered with mold. Apparently the air conditioner had been leaking into the closet for months (contributing to the outrageous electric bills). I assume that maintenance had not fixed the problem correctly and due to their "fixing" We had many articles of clothing and shoes destroyed. I may have just had bad luck with Riverrain but I know I would never live there again.
