Where do I start' First of all, when we moved in you could tell the place had not been thoroughly cleaned. On the first or second day after I moved in, some maintenance workers came barging in because I didn't answer the door when they supposedly knocked. I questioned them about their intrusion, and they said they could come right in without advance notice in emergency situations. Emergency situation''!! All they wanted to do was spray for potential bugs because another apartment in the same building had found cockroaches. After living their for only 3-4 months, they started bugging us about renewing our lease. We had phone calls from them almost everyday. My roommate called and told them we didn't want to re-lease, but the calls kept coming. Our screen door was constantly falling off so we could hardly ever have our sliding glass door open or else the bugs would get in. I also had an issue with some late fees that were added to our rent. I did not yell, scream at, threaten or disrespect the manager when I went to talk to her. However, she immediately became defensive and said she wasn't lowering our rent. Um, riiiight...that's not what I asked. I finally told her to quit talking to me like I was a little kid since I'm 26-years-old...I was just trying to understand the rent problem and get it solved. The partying is non-stop. I understand it's a college apartment complex, but is there really a need to turn your radio on at 1:00am or later 3-4 nights a week' Everything was a hassle living there...from the maintenance to the staff to the way we were treated like 17-year-olds living in a dorm for the first time.
