I would recommend riverrain to any student going to EMU. It had its own full size washer and dryer which is key because the coin for the laundry mat adds up. It is a good place to meet people because it is all students, usually sophmores-seniors. It does have its party moments though as any place would in a college town. There is security that drives around which is nice. The walk to campus is a bit of a hike but the free shuttle stops right in front of the entrance. I wish I had stayed there for my whole college career. I didn't know how good I had it until I experienced some other places in Ypsi.
