this is the third apartment complex i have lived in while i've lived in ypsilanti. this one is the biggest pain in the neck. the staff is very nice, but nothing gets done. within months of living here we were getting charged for late fees when we were NEVER late with the rent, it was cleared up but it was an inconvenience, and it happened more than once. the appliances are crap, our refrigerator has mis-matched doors for the freezer and fridge. the heat does not work! it doesn't, and i have called more than once and they just come and replace the thermostat and it still doesn't work. oh, and the "free" cable is a LOAD! there is about 22 channels and everyone once in a while they change their minds and take away certain channels and add new ones in the old ones place. all this and it is VERY noisy. on any given night there could be a passed out drunk kid in the hallways, people smoking pot in the hallways, or just trash spread throughout the hallways. the walls are paper thin and there is just a bunch of party kids that live here. all this and the parking situation is RIDICULOUS! i live here and i have to park in guest parking EVERY DAY because there is NEVER enough room for me to park. it is close to school and very spacious, but it really isn't worth the hassle.
