Wonderful place if you are looking for a great value and liveable conditions in the same complex.
In the greater Ann Arbor area it is rare to find that combination - most places are either way overpriced or too scary/scummy to feel safe.
Not only is the rent reasonable but heat is free as well.
Parking is plentiful and they do not charge extra for a second vehicle.
Office staff is always friendly, caring and helpful - and they go the extra mile whenever they have a chance.
We recieved a great little welcome basket and fresh-baked cookies when we moved in.
Did I mention we also got our first month rent-free' :) Pet rent is very reasonable, $15/month is what we pay for my 2 cats.
And another great thing which cannot be underestimated - this complex has EXCELLENT sound insulation.
If you hear loud music in the hallways rest assured that it will not get through once you close your door.
Comcast is available here too for all you internet junkies :P Don't get me wrong - River's Edge is not a fancy place - but it does offer all the basics of a comfortable home at a good price, which is quite a rare thing around here.
