An "Under New Management" sign on the front lawn isn't always a good thing. This place has been purchased three times since we moved in a year and a half ago, and this new ownership is the worst yet. They've purchased all of the complexes around, but don't seem to have increased the maintenance or office staffs whatsoever.
I've come to expect:
- Little to bad to no communication.
- Maintenance guys who do half the job and never come back.
- Voicemails never returned.
- Being hung up on-- really, a total lack of professionalism on all parts.
- Passive Aggressive notes-- like the time some kind of animal dug out our trash and we were scolded for not putting it in the dumpster.
- A five day grace period before they attach a late fee to your rent (which is standard) but they will mail an eviction notice at end of the day on the 1st if they don't have your check.
- No one can ever give you any information except for the community manager, and she's always out 'walking the property'-- whatever the hell that means.
- Hallways and parking lots so disgusting you'll be embarrassed to have friends over. Think-- beer cans in outgoing mail slots, people leaving trash outside their doors (in common areas of the building) and all over the grounds. And hallway carpets that are rarely vacuumed and never (since I've lived here) actually cleaned like, with a steamer or anything. And broken locks that mgmt doesn't fix for months-- which is the biggest threat to security imaginable.
- At least one day without hot water each month. Always in the morning, so you're good and screwed for your day.
and much much more.
Turn around and walk away.
And don't listen to the 'glowing' remarks on here-- they're clearly written by the revolving door of property employees that have come through in the last 2 years.

I have had the problem with lack of hot water also. I hate it. we always seem to lose hot water on weekends because everyone in our building is doing laundry. They shouldn't offer a laundry room if they can't keep enough hot water to run it.
