I looked at this apartment in october of 06 the staff seemed nice and accomidating, for my first apartment it looked like it would be nice... what a joke. I moved in and my bedroom ceiling was 2 different textures split right down the middle of the room. The lock on my door was so stiff it broke 2 keys in it before they finally did something. The day I moved in I opened the dishwasher and it fell out on the floor my shower also didnt work. I called emergency maintenance they told me it wasnt an emergency and complained the entire time they fixed it. Cold air came in through the air cinditioner all winter and the air didnt really do much in the summer. There were constant parties and my car was broken into twice. I was told to call night patrol which by the way they had quit paying for so they no longer had the service. My friends car got towed even with a visitors pass in the window. The neighbors below us smoked so much pot you could smell it in my apt and the staff said they couldnt do anything about it. The security door also never locked.My fiance would not even let me out of our apt door on my own. Someone stole my clothes out of the dryer. I found out that all of this violated the lease agreement as they have 10 days to per the truth in reting act to fix any of these things after giving them written notice and they didnt. The pot smoking also violated the truth in renting act, along with many other things they broke in their own lease. I left in may and received my security deposit back afer I threatened to take them to court. Oh and our heat and hot water went out 4 times in 3 months one night it was the night before thanksgiving when everyone was showering and cooking, there was not hot water forever!
