My roomates and I just got a place here for fall and got a really good deal too. Cool people there told us about them weeding out some people that used to work there and now the owners are dumping as bunch of money they said into new updates. There is like three "river somethings" you can walk to within like a mile from eachother and all are close to campus so we went here with the one that gives the most new stuff for the best deal. Most of the apartments close to campus are either old or really expensive. This place is redoing the apartments and hooking them up nice but still cheaper than the others that were kinda pricy and didnd't have much new stuff at all. it would be cooler if they had a pool but our girlfriends have pools and if not having one keeps the place reasonable we're cool with that. Definately worth checkin out

careful, they told us the same. Promises don't mean anything until they're carried through with. This place has been under new management like 5 times in the last 3 years... they keep firing the old staff and hiring new ones. The staff seems nice at first, until something goes wrong with your apartment and then they don't care.

agreed. We thought we were getting a good deal, but turns out the staff is really dumb. And when you ask them to fix something, 2 months ago, and it still hasn't happened...it makes you wonder if they rode the short bus to school. Plus it took them till the end of winter to put the AC covers on. They can be really rude and snotty.

I agree with both, we didnt even GET AC covers when we lived there, our heat NEVER worked although we had it up to like 90... and our kitchen sink was clogged for practically the whole time we lived there.... maintenance came in.. and flooded the place(bc it def. wasnt flooded before they came in) and then we got in trouble for it.. Just be careful... OH and if you live on the ground floor.. watch your windows.. we had someone try to break in... in the middle of the day, while we were there! Not sure what building you are in, but when we left.. someone had kicked in the plexiglass window.... and they boarded it up... we drive by, and it's still boarded up, 8 months later.

I lived there with a roommate about 10 years ago. 3 points: - The landscaping there has improved SIGNIFICANTLY since we lived there - Towing was a HUGE issue while we were there. When we first moved in i accidentally parked in a tenants spot for <5 minutes and was towed! I swear they were there towing almost daily out of the lot. I cringed everytime i saw the tow trucks; they took >100.00 from me (oh and my friends got towed too) - The parking lot at night was ghetto. Bass bumpin' and people dancing in the parking lot all hours of the night became routine. We got used to it, but it did bother some of my neighbors. What can you expect from a university area apt. complex though? Never had problems with anything so i cant rate on maintenance. If you dont mind noise nightly and park in your assigned spot, Rivers Edge is for you.

Every time during the school year I catch at least a few college pukes humping the local rabbits what a mess these kids are!
