The office staff, although not overly helpful when my roommate decided to move out in the middle of our lease, pretended to be sympathetic while they gently told me that if I didn't find another roommate to help pay the rent, they would ruin my credit and sue me. Haha. Oh well, what can you do. But I found another roommate, stuck out the lease, and this is what I found:

There were a few things that were broken, or broke during my stay there- but the maintenance guys were awesome. They were always there within an hour after I called, and they were very friendly. I was on the third floor, and the only noise I ever heard was my next door neighbor playing music a couple of times (although maybe my neighbord was just quiet, because when I used to walk down the stairwell, you could always hear this couple, one floor down and across the hall, screaming at each other.)
The apartments were very big for the price. The balconies are cool because they are screened in, so you don't have to worry about bugs, and you can let your indoor cats out there. The parking lots are well-lit and there is plenty of parking space, so that you can park close right up close to your building, but I always was watchful as I walked in anyway, since I am a young woman, and let's face it- nowhere in Ypsi is going to be perfectly safe. I did get my car broken into less than a month before I moved out. But I was the one who had left my purse sitting right on the seat, so I guess I was asking for it. Other than that, I never particularly heard of any crime at the complex (it is a big complex). They did have a neighborhood watch program while I was there. They probably still do. Overall, then it was a pretty good deal for the price. Now, it's gone up a little bit. But I would still live there, if my work wasn't so far away.
